Here in late fall, the pasture looking up the hill to the barn/indoor arena.  White board fences enclose the drylot paddocks nearest to the barn.  The pasture is separated into thirds by semi permanent electrobraid and 1/2" tape fencing.  The rolling pastures help keep the horses fit.

Early spring, Smudge is looking back towards the house, (just visible on the right in the trees), from the Stable.

Wildlife is abundant and easily viewed from the conservatory windows of the dining area.  These fawns are just across the drive at the front of the house.

Mr. Tom Turkey struts for his hens in the gravel parking area to the west of the house.....this flock visits the bird feeders daily and can be viewed as they rest in the shade of the river birch clump during the heat of the day.

This mid-summer view is from the drive between the house and the barn, looking north across the pasture towards the neighbors pond.  Wild geese and ducks nest here during the spring and summer.  The loud croaking of frogs makes the "quiet" country night noisy.  The evening walks to the barn are lit by lightening bugs along the way.

This is a view of the house and deck from the drive where the fauns were standing.  The 2+ car garage is under the deck.  It is large enough to park our F-350 long box truck inside.  The drive to the barn continues off to the right.                   The conservatory windows reflect heat from a summer sun, but allow the weaker winter rays to help heat the room.  The deck faces SSE.

A large front yard separates the house from the drive as it circles past the goat shed and on down to the stable area.

The house viewed from the top of the driveway.  The clump of river birch provides shade to the wild turkeys on summer afternoons.

The house from the back.  These windows view the pasture between the house and barn.  The two bedrooms on the lower level have large windows (on the far end of photo), the large sliding glass door enters the family room from a small concrete patio. On the main level 3 large glass window allow a scenic view from the living room.
